It's funny, I used to play this game when I was a little kid, I want to say its been 11 or 12 years since then? Maybe more? Don't know exactly when this game came out but I was playing it when AoT season one was still being released in Japan. I was watching the new episodes every weekend in subs and that was the beginning of my anime adventure!
The whole point of me telling you all of that, was to tell you that this game IS FREAKING AWESOME!!! I played this game before I even watched the anime or read the manga. I met some really cool people and haven't played a better AoT game since! I'd really like to get involved with the creation and forward progress of this game. I want to see it become a TRIPLE AAA title! I know that's a long ways off, but if we don't quit on improving a great game. One day, we will make it.

I played this in the early days too (around 10yrs for me)! I remember running to my middle school's anime club and booting up the game so a few friends and I could spend the next hour slaying titans. I was always a potato main, focusing on slashing ankles so the others could go in for easier kills. Man, and the rush of calling out abnormal titans (or "abbies", as we called them) was amazing!
This game is absolutely a blast from the past, and I am indescribably happy that I stumbled across this remake.
Anybody know how to preserve your velocity when swinging perpendicular to a wall? I'm just trying to practice my aerial mobility, but when my boost times out, hooking to a wall just pulls me to it, cancelling my perpendicular velocity. In fact, it's quite frustrating that you can't just swing off of anything in general. It seems like hooking a wall only adds velocity in the direction of the wall you're hooking to.
Also, just realized the game consistently drops inputs with certain key combinations. I set my right hook to T, jump and boost to Space, and now it doesn't register most of the time if I'm holding one or the other.

I've been playing Attack on Titan Tribute Game for over a decade, ever since Feng Lee's time, when his version allowed us to feel the adrenaline rush of soaring through the skies with the 3D maneuvering equipment. AoTTG2 isn't a radical change, but every improvement, however small, gives us a new way to experience the game.
The new maps and setting make the experience feel almost completely different, but without losing the essence of the original AoTTG. What truly distinguishes this game from others based on the franchise is the complete absence of movement assistance. Here, your skill is everything: whether it's maneuvering with precision, severing any part of a Titan's body, or going straight for the nape, it all depends on your dexterity.
If you're looking for a challenge where every move counts and freedom is absolute, AoTTG2 is still the best option.
All data is stored in the Documents/Aottg2 folder.
As long as you don’t delete that it should be good. Otherwise to delete a copy, you just delete the folder with the launcher and redownload. Basically all aottg2 copies will refer to the documents folder.
Is there a way to play normally Outside the walls in a singleplayer mode? If I die it resets even tho I set unlimited respawn and I can't find a way to make it work. It was always my favourite mode in the 1st game and I wanted to come back to it but nobody ever plays it. So I want to play alone but I suck at this game and die really easily
Thank you very much for this game and your efforts. Thanks to your work, the game has become better and a special thank you for the custom logic. My opinion is that expanding the capabilities of custom logic will allow users to create many special maps and scripts, which will greatly help promote the project. We are looking forward to further updates and expansions of custom logic capabilities

its an amazing thing that this game is back, I remember playing the first one with my brother when we where young and I just want to say that I love this game, hope you add more game modes to the game and maybe now map and I hope to see a rumbling update
No clue what you actually want for nape lock tbh.
From what I know, all we want is for napelock to not be an auto aim feature for ts/apg/ahss. If there’s an issue other than this create a thread in the bug report and ping me.
There’s a few things that I’ve tried looking into optimization wise, however I’m not too sure if they’ll solve your issues. If the game is cpu bound for you, they may, but graphics wise, I haven’t looked into any optimizations yet aside from LODs which may take some time to setup given the way maps are loaded.

THE NOSTALGIA IS INCREDIBLE! Those were the days am I right? Stress free just chilling and playing some AoT!

Keep the gas key pushed as soon as you stick a hook to the wall to move perpendicular to it in the air. It also allows you to move very fast

You should focus more on optimizing the game, many cannot play because the fps is slow, it even stops when it is at 30fps.
